Reading an Anonymous Opportunity Card

Why the seller is invisible

Turkish regional markets are small enough that two details identify an owner. The card therefore carries category-level information only — deliberately. Identity is not missing; it is staged for later, with the seller's consent.

Reading the bands

Region level tells you the geography class, not the address. Scale band tells you the order of magnitude, not a price. Transaction intent tells you what the seller side is open to — acquisition, partnership or capital entry. Bands are filters for fit, not inputs for valuation.

What the labels do not mean

Verification labels confirm process steps: ownership checked, NDA-ready, data room prepared, last confirmation date. They are not endorsements, ratings or quality opinions. No valuation opinion is shown anywhere on a card — by policy, not by omission.

When more information opens

After profile fit is established, value drivers and scale detail follow; identifying information and summary financials open only after the NDA; classified documents live in the logged data room. The sequence is described in How a File Reaches You — the card is step zero.

Asking the right way

The productive question is not "send me everything" but "does this card match my mandate?" If it does, request the next step and complete what that step asks. Cards reward precise mandates; vague interest stays at the card.
